Blogging is a weird word... if you replace the o with any other vowel, it sounds really silly; i.e. blagging, blegging (though that sounds sort of like begging), blugging, bligging, blogging, see?
It's ridiculous!
Actually, I'm not entirely sure what a blog is, a place where people write stuff? Online? Like a journal... that everyone can see? So anyways, I am a person of not much wisdom, but who collects quotes from people I become obsessed with, or idolise, or look up to, or... yeah. Big words. My vocabulary still has many stairs to climb, so I'm going to use "look up to" for the people whom I get advice from. Somehow, I manage to remember everything that will never, ever, be important in my life, so here's a quote from my favourite (well one of my favourite) animators, Hayao Miyazaki "You cannot escape your fate; but you can rise to meet it"
Great Quote eh!? Let's discuss. Or I'll discuss. And you'll read. Maybe... (Hello readers!)
So, I think what this is saying is that stuff happens in our lives, and we can either run away from it, or we can embrace these events and deal with them in the best way possible, because life is like box of chocolates - you never know which one you'll get - so you better enjoy what you do get, unless you're allergic and die from eating a chocolate with peanuts in it.
Sucks to be you!
And that's all, I should write about Barbara Kruger (or, that artist that no one really knows, or likes, but pretends to like because she has conflicting views with popular culture. I like popular culture... sometimes. I think people who digress from popular stuff all the time just because they want to be different can be kind of silly, because then if you really like something you won't do it because it conflicts with your idea of what you should be, when you should just be what you want to be. In saying that, I like pop music! HA!)
Now I'm going to say farewell, in the most inventive way I possibly can...
Penguin squishes!
(I like penguins)
